
Greg J. Smith is a PhD student within the Communication, New Media, and Cultural Studies program at McMaster University. His current research interests include the history of electronic percussion and media art. Greg is the Editor of HOLO magazine, a periodical dedicatedto emerging trajectories in art, science, and technology. His writing has appeared in Musicworks, CreativeApplications.Net, the V2_ Institute for the Unstable Media’s Blowup Reader eBook series, and numerous catalogue essays. Greg serves on the Board of Directors at InterAccess, a Toronto artist-run centre focused on expanding the cultural significance of art and technology, and he teaches in the New Media program within Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media.
