VANESSA BLAIS-TREMBLAY is a musicologist and a women’s studies scholar. She is a current postdoctoral fellow at CRILCQ (FRQSC), and has worked as lecturer at the Institute for Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies and at the Schulich School of Music @ McGill University. She is also a professional violinist and improvisor.
