Attention, Inuit Artists, Craftspeople and Fashion Designers!

The 21st Inuit Studies Conference (ISC) is offering three opportunities for you to sell your work during the conference, which will be held from Thursday October 3 to Sunday October 6, 2019, in Montreal. On the evening of Thursday the 3rd, there will be an exciting Inuit art, craft and design night market during the iNuit blanche gallery crawl, and on both Friday and Saturday there will also be a sale during the conference. Tables, chairs and space will be provided free of charge. Vendors will manage all aspects of their own sales (accept payment, provide change, shopping bags, packing materials, clothing racks, displays, etc).

Vendors are only required to register for the conference. Early Bird registration is on until July 31st. Vendors must register and email us by August 31st.

Open to all vendors of Inuit descent from around the circumpolar world. Space is limited and will be provided on a first-come first-serve basis to registered conference attendees. Shared/ community tables are also encouraged. After you have registered for the conference, please email us to tell us what kinds of things you plan on selling, request a half or whole table during the events, and indicate all of the days (Thursday evening, Friday daytime, Saturday daytime) you intend to sell your work. Both original, handmade work and commercially produced work is welcome, as long as the creator is Inuk.

If you need a letter of confirmation / support to apply for travel funding, we can provide letters. Please email us.
