Recreational facilities play an important role as part of the new indigenous communities that are taking shape. In the original nomadic lifestyle, people used their creativity to develop and play games, often as training for survival. In static communities with guaranteed shelter and food, there needs to be outlets for this same physical activity. There are techniques that can be used to develop recreational facilities that integrate into the community and become an essential part of the lifestyle of the people.
