Galerie Elca London shares a special preview of the 2019 Annual Graphics Collection with visitors to the iNuit blanche gallery crawl.Join gallerist Mark London in celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Kinngait Studios annual print release, a tradition that has been upheld without exception since 1959, created by the artists and printmakers of Kinngait (Cape Dorset) and circulated internationally by Dorset Fine Arts.
Galerie Elca London was founded in 1960 with the goal of promoting excellence in contemporary Canadian art. During the mid 1960’s the focus was broadened to include the art of Canada’s North, and by the end of the 1980’s the scope and quality of their Inuit art collection began to demand their full attention. Since 2007 Elca London has been conveniently situated between the city's most prestigious boutique hotels and the downtown business core.
