
Mireille Goulet is a biologist by training. She represents in Quebec the Dog Legislation Council of Canada (DLCC), a Canadian organization which promotes efficient and fair canine legislation, responsible dog ownership and bite prevention. She recently took part in the Quebec Government's special consultations on its Bill 128. Mireille Goulet is also the President and Founder of CRAC-Citizens responsible for their companion animals, founded in 2011 in the wake of Montreal’s Berger Blanc pound cruelty scandal, and which seeks responsible animal management by municipalities based on humane practices.
