  Risa Gorelick,a Rhetoric and Composition scholar, is the Associate Coordinator of First-Year Writing in the Humanities Department at the New Jersey Institute of Technology where she teaches writing courses. Since 1995, she has chaired/co-chaired the Research Network Forum at the Conference on College Composition and Communication.  She is also a Dissertation/Writing Coach at Defend & Publish, LLC: We Help You Write Now, where she assists writers all over the world on all aspects of scholarly writing of dissertations, books, articles, and grants through email, Skype, and other online formats. Her latest research focuses on mentoring and labor relations in writing studies.  Her most recent book chapter is The Missing Piece: Where Is the Labor-Related Research at the Research Network Forum?” Labored: The State(ment) and Future of Work in Composition. Eds.
