Christy Sheffield Sanford lives in North Florida near the Atlantic Ocean. Sanford has won a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry. She is the author of seven small press books including The Cowrie Shell Piece: Baroque and Rococo Strains and The Hs: The Spasms of a Requiem. Her animated videos have been published online by Amp (Rolled Hem or Nadine), Atticus Review (Poe’s Purloined Molars) and Carbon Culture (Julia Child’s Legs). Sanford was the first Virtual Writer in Residence for trAce. She holds a Masters Degree in Creative Writing and Interarts from Antioch University.
