6:00 PM, Monday 13 Aug 2018 (3 days 20 hours)
Centre de Design (DE) UQAM - Galerie du Centre de Design
This is a VR film installation, 360 stéréo 3D with ambisonic sound. Poetry in Motion invites the viewer to discover the voices of poets who read their work at Harvard University since recordons became possible at the turn of the 2oth century. In this Vr installation we walk around Harvard Yard in Cambridge and hear dead poet's voices such as Ezra Pound and Ann Carson to name a few- as they haunt the campus during this installation. This VR piece is inpired and plays with the geolocalized sound exhibition created by the artist Halsey Burgund for Harvard University and the Woodbury Poetry Room. It was shot with the Ozo camera and edited in 3d stereo to offer a spatialized expérience of sound and image outside the screen constraints.
