M. Aubin est titulaire d'une maîtrise professionnelle en aménagement du territoire et développement régional de l'Université Laval. Il est présentement candidat à la maîtrise en sciences géographiques avec mémoire à l'Université Laval et travaille au Centre Urbanisation culture société de l'Institut national de la recherche scientifique.

Il s'intéresse aux enjeux patrimoniaux de l'aménagement durable du territoire, plus particulièrement aux débats entourant la requalification des propriétés des communautés religieuses.
