Adriana Diaconu est maître de conférences en urbanisme à l’Institut d’urbanisme de Grenoble, Université Grenoble Alpes, et membre de l’UMR PACTE du CNRS. Ses travaux abordent l’action urbaine en relation avec les questions sociales liées à l’habitat, avec les enjeux culturels et de transmission, ainsi qu’avec les relations interculturelles. Faisant suite à un projet de recherche débuté en 2010 sur « Les acteurs et les conflits de représentations liés au patrimoine urbain en Europe. France – Roumanie – Turquie » et à un colloque final organisé en 2014 à Paris sur les « Revendications et contestations patrimoniales », elle coordonne actuellement un chapitre de publication collective dédié à « l’Entrée des migrants dans le champ patrimonial et (aux) enjeux de territorialité ».
