Professor Janusz Krawczyk is the director of the Department of Monument Conservation at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Poland). His teaching areas and research interests include the history of built heritage and the issues of conservation theory. He is a member of ICOMOS and the International Scientific Committee for Theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration.
