Susan Ross, OAQ, FAPT, is a conservation architect with over twenty years experience in Montreal, Berlin and Ottawa. She has been active for over a decade in writing and teaching about heritage and sustainability with respect to: urban, modern and industrial landscapes; values ontologies, rating systems and heritage planning policies; and, environmental histories of materials, buildings and sites.  Since 2013 Susan is assistant professor of the School of Canadian Studies at Carleton University, where she developed an advanced seminar on Heritage Conservation and Sustainability.
