Alexandre Bacon biography:
Alexandre Bacon is a recognized speaker and strategic advisor who has worked with Indigenous organizations as well as corporations and governments.
Often called upon to facilitate meetings between Indigenous and non-Indigenous bodies, Alexandre Bacon is also the founding president of Institut Ashukan, an Indigenous company dedicated to the implementation of reconciliation.
The organization deploys various training programs, supports several universities in considering Indigenous issues in research, and offers strategic services for the implementation of reconciliation principles. These approaches are designed to provide organizations with concrete tools for developing lasting ties with First Nations and Inuit.
Mr. Bacon sits on several boards of directors, including that of First Nations and Inuit representative to the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec. In addition to his achievements as an entrepreneur and builder of bridges between communities, he is an outstanding storyteller and a keen enthusiast of Innu mythology.
