From the website produced as part of a concerted action in cultural safety (FRQSC 2020–2024), we will present examples of practices supporting school perseverance and educational success. This presentation includes videos of people working daily with Innu people—young and not so young—from Côte-Nord. This will be an opportunity to explore examples of cultural safety practices developed in different educational contexts, from early childhood care to university, in Innu and provincial settings.

We will discuss the courses of action inspired by the results of our research, as well as the principles of intervention represented in our videos. The idea is to consider different paths of achievement and success.

Our aim is to share transferable and adaptable practices, and we hope that these exchanges will inspire anyone interested in making learning part of the process of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
