The link between early language skills and children’s educational success is well documented. The Blooming Wordsprogram makes it possible to act in prevention/promotion of learning difficulties, by stimulating language early on by means of a speech therapy web application developed for kindergartens 4–5 years old, childcare services, the community, or the health network. This program has just been adapted with and for Indigenous families in a cultural safety approach, in collaboration with the MSSS, CIUSSS CN, API-Enfance, and several Indigenous partners (MAMUK, CAAQ, Tshakapesh Institute, Innu Council of Pessamit). Discover the Indigenous Languages and Cultures workshop, videos and testimonies from First Nations and Inuit, oral and written content available in Innu-Aimun, French or English, activities related to the cultural background of the communities, and more! Also learn about our various ongoing experimental projects.
