First, our communication aims to present the collaborative methodology underlying the creation of a summer camp in the Innu oral language involving Innu students in the Bachelor of Preschool and Primary Education (BÉPEP) of Sept-Îles (UQAC – Alouette pavilion). The summer camp, which focused on promoting Innu cultural landmarks and recreational learning, aimed to develop and consolidate the speaking and motor skills of preschool students before entering primary school to support their academic success. The aim of the project was to study the professional development of these future Innu teachers and the impact of this involvement on their perseverance in university studies, and this, through a self-confrontation exercise following the creation and running of the summer camp. Secondly, we will present a premise of the results in this sense, which are in line with the axis of learning as a process of reconciliation and resurgence.iliation et de résurgence.
