Amrita Biswas

Amrita Biswas is a PhD candidate in the “Configurations of Film” research collective at Goethe University, Frankfurt. She has contributed to Accidental Archivism, Pandemic Media: Notes Towards an Inventory and Who Owns the Images? (Meson Press). Her articles have been published in the journals Studies in South Asian Film and Media and Iluminace. She was awarded the Erasmus Plus fellowship for conducting research in the department of Cultural Anthropology at Georg- August University, Göttingen, from October 2019 to March 2020. Her research interests comprise the conceptual notions of archives, anecdotes, media infrastructures, restitution and cultural heritage.
