Alessia Francesca Casiraghi

Alessia Francesca Casiraghi is a Phd student at IULM University’s Doctoral School of Visual

and Media Studies, where she participates in the Film and Media Studies Doctoral

Programme. Her doctoral thesis explores the philosophical concept of time as it is

experimented among cinema, transmedia storytelling and new digital platforms, starting

from the notion of the Time-Image described by Gilles Deleuze. She received an MA in

Modern Philology and she obtained a Master Degree in Screenwriting and Production at

the Catholic University, Milan. Previously, she worked as a creative and development

consultant for TV and feature film in Indipendent Production Companies in Rome.
