Magdalena Heruday-Kiełczewska

Magdalena Heruday-Kiełczewska is the assistant professor at the Faculty of History (in Archivist department). In 2013 she obtained the Ph.D. simultaneously on Adam Mickiewicz University and Paris-IV La Sorbonne. She also participated in various scientific and archival projects, like description and arrangement of archives of Association Solidarité France-Pologne, which were deposed in Polish Library in Paris. She was also the consultant during work on the archive of Jerzy Giedroyc and his Instytut Literacki - Kultura. Lately she cooperated with Université Rennes 2 and University in Luxembourg in project “Le goût de l’archive à l’ère numérique” (“Archives in the digital age”). From march 2022 she is the coordinator of "Archives of help for Ukraine" at the Adam Mickiewicz University. She is interested in history of archives, history of documents, private archives, edition of sources and local history.
