Michael Marlatt (he/him) is a Canadian disabled film archivist and York University PhD candidate. His dissertation examines disability, chronic illness, and neurodiversity in moving image archival training programs in North America. He has previously worked on archival film projects for TIFF, CFMDC, York University, and Archive/Counter-Archive. Michael co-founded the AMIA Accessibility Committee in 2022. Michael’s work on film and archival disability advocacy has been published in The Moving Image, Archival Outlook, and The Journal of Film Preservation.
