Jonathan Karpetz

PhD Candidate in the Department of Art History & Communication at McGill University. My dissertation focuses on the history of Canadian Offshore Schools that emerged in the mid-1990s as partnerships between provinces and private education groups, primarily in China. Through the lens of organizational communication theory, I explore how these programs and relationships have evolved over the last twenty years. My archival work related to my dissertation project has opened up many questions related to archives and the climate, which is what I will explore with my presentation.
