Sam Meech (b. Huddersfield, UK) is an artist and researcher, and the Technical Co-ordinator at Vidéographe, an artist run centre in Montreal. He has previously taught at Manchester School of Art and Concordia University. His artistic and research interests include hybrid video feedback systems, site specific projection design, and remixing archives. In 2010 he developed a commission for the North West Film Archive (Manchester, UK), recreating a version of ‘Noah’s Ark’ using only works preserved in their collection. His thesis ‘Video in the Abyss’ (2020) examined contemporary approaches to working with early video art techniques, namely the practice of video feedback.
