Aasiya Lodhi

Aasiya Lodhi is a Senior Lecturer in Media at the University of Westminster, UK. She is currently writing a book on the entanglements between decolonisation, race, voice and radio in fifties Britain. In 2022, she led an AHRC-funded public engagement project on visibility and erasure in the BBC's archives as related to Black British women. Aasiya was a BBC radio producer for nearly two decades before joining academia.
