Andrew Burke is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Winnipeg, Canada. His book, Hinterland Remixed: Media, Memory, and the Canadian 1970s, was published by McGill-Queen's University Press in 2019. He is currently working on a manuscript that examines the global circulation of objects in films from the 1960s and 70s, provisionally titled “Cinema and the Object-World of Modernity.” He is the current President of the Film and Media Studies Association of Canada.
