My PhD study aims to understand which are the molecular pathways that can be modulated by the phytocompounds present in the diet, and for which this natural compound can perform their anti-tumoral effect. With a special focus in those tumor types associated with obesity. Also, I wish to provide evidence that we can prevent the development of aggressive cancers, throughout the modulation of what we eat.
