Mwayi Lusaka is a PhD candidate in the department of History at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa where he also tutors history. His areas of interest are in Public History, Cultural heritage and Museums. He is also a Doctoral Fellow at the Center for Humanities Research of the University of the Western Cape. In Malawi he works as an Ethnographer in the Cultural History section of the Museums of Malawi.
