
Imen Ben Jemia is an Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah in UAE. Graduated in Architecture, she holds a Master Degree in Environmental Design emphasizing on Conservation of Built Heritage and a Ph.D in Environmental Design from the University of Montreal in Canada. Before Joining University of Sharjah she has taught in design studios and has collaborated with different research groups at the School of Architecture of the University of Montreal. Her research about Heritage, Cities and Architecture analyzing the identity projects of Quebec and Toronto was presented in different international conferences and journals. She is currently pursuing research about Identity, Architecture and cities in the Middle East.
