Maria Gravari-Barbas, architecte et géographe, est professeure à l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Elle dirige l’Institut de recherches et d’études supérieures du tourisme (IREST) et l’Équipe interdisciplinaire de recherches sur le tourisme (EIREST). Elle est coordinatrice de la Chaire UNESCO et du Réseau UNITWIN UNESCO culture, tourisme, développement de l’Université Paris 1.
