
Michael Windover is Assistant Professor of Art History, teaching in the History and Theory of Architecture Program in the School for Studies in Art and Culture at Carleton University. His published research has explored spaces of mass media, from cinemas in Toronto and Bombay (Mumbai) to hockey arenas and radio transmission stations. His book Art Deco: A Mode of Mobility (Québec, 2012) reads the popular modern style as representing systems of mobility and contemporary fascination with them.
