Bárbara de Oliveira Ribeiro Gemente holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) / Araraquara, an institution where she conducted her research on the Seven Wonders: the applicability of cultural projects from the first decade of this century and the influences that guide them, from the viewpoint of São Carlos. She is now a master student in the history programme at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), where she develops a project funded by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) on the Brazilian cultural landscape in the State of Santa Catarina. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Heritage, Environment and Communities (LIPAC) – NEPAM [Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas Ambientais] / UNICAMP.
