Dr Nader Meddeb

Architect Nader Meddeb graduated from the National School of Architecture and Urbanism of Tunis in 2005. He is the holder of a master in architecture obtained from the same institution in 2007 and recently of a PhD in urban design from the University of Montreal, with a thesis entitled: La Modernisation de Tunis : une architecture et un urbanisme d’État au miroir d’une anthologie de la percée dans la médina (1881-1987). Author of several articles, book sections, and communications, his work involves studies of the post-colonial city in the Muslim world and in particular in the Maghreb region. Among his areas of interest is cited architectural Orientalism in World Fairs.
