Lúcia Campos holds a master’s degree in musicology from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) and a master’s in anthropology from the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS), where she is also a PhD candidate. As a musician and a researcher, she has been investigating the interface between the “Brazilian popular culture” and contemporary musical scenes, her main interests being the ethnography of musical practices, the study of festivals, musical education, archives, and intangible heritage.
