Since 2005, the International Conferences of Early Scholars in Heritage, which have taken place in Canada, Australia, Europe and South America, have invited student researchers to discuss their research in international forums. The Conferences are built around the scientific work of heritage students from all over the world, and form an international network in the research community.

For this fifteenth edition, we find ourselves in Chania, an area rich in natural scenery, history and heritage built up over the centuries. Regional heritage and international tourism: this is the ideal setting for our symposium on the challenges of tourism and heritage. 

With research covering 16 countries and 5 continents, this edition of the Conferences will be an occasion and an opportunity for inter-knowledge; a richness in the multitude of approaches it allows.
