Diplômée de l’Université Paris-Sorbonne, Lise Walczak poursuit un doctorat en aménagement à l’Université de Montréal sous la direction du professeur Gérard Beaudet. Ses recherches portent sur le lien entre métropolisation et patrimonialisation des banlieues d'après-guerre. En parallèle, elle intègre l'équipe de recherche ARIAction spécialisée en résilience urbaine et dirigée par la professeure Isabelle Thomas, avec pour objectif d'étudier les problématiques notamment liées à la conservation du patrimoine et à l'adaptation aux changements climatiques.
