Renata Montechiare is a PhD candidate in the sociology and anthropology programme of the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. She holds a master’s degree in anthropology from that same university, and a bachelor’s degree in cultural production from the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Researcher in the Laboratório de Antropologia da Arquitetura e Espaços (LAARES) and editor of the Revista Enfoques, her research interests are: artistic fields, social identities, cultural production, heritage, collections, objects, and anthropological museums.
