Jean Marc Fontan is a professor in the Sociology department of Université du Québec à Montréal. A specialist in economic sociology, he co-directs, with Peter Elson, the Canadian Philanthropy Partnership Research Network (PhiLab). He also directs the social innovation collection at Presses de l’Université du Québec.
