Le Projet impact collectif (PIC) est un accélérateur de changement qui vise à augmenter l’impact de la mobilisation et à obtenir des résultats mesurables et marquants sur la réduction de la pauvreté dans les quartiers montréalais.Le PIC n’est pas un programme, ni un fonds. C’est une nouvelle forme de soutien au développement des communautés qui renforce, sans s’y substituer, les modes de financement habituels de Centraide. Le PIC est rendu possible grâce à la collaboration de grandes fondations familiales qui s’engagent auprès de Centraide du Grand Montréal à investir 21 M$ sur cinq ans dans 17 quartiers de l'île de Montréal.

A brief overview of the project

The Collective Impact Project (CIP) is an accelerator of change that aims to increase the impact of collective action and achieve measurable and significant outcomes in the reduction of poverty in Montreal neighbourhoods.The CIP is not a program or a fund. It is a new form of support for community development that reinforces but does not supplant Centraide's normal funding methods.The CIP has been made possible thanks to the help of major family foundations that have committed $21 million over 5 years so that Centraide of Greater Montreal can invest in seventeen neighbourhoods on the Island of Montreal.
