Groupe de recherche en signalisation cellulaire (GRSC)
The groupe de recherche en signalisation cellulaire (GRSC) collaborates for the production and integration of knowledge on the cellular bases in a physiological context and during their deregulation at the origin of diseases including infertility, Parkinson's, AIDS, and cancer. More than ever, medicine needs the contribution of cell biology, first to understand diseases, but especially to treat them. One of the major goals of biomedical research is to elucidate the cellular changes leading to the onset of diseases and which are very often linked to alterations in the information transmission pathways between the various cells or tissues, or within the cells themselves. The transmission of information involves various cellular and intercellular signaling pathways and it is these pathways that the GRSC explores in great detail.
