Biologist from the Faculty of Sciences UNAM; Master in Environmental Geography (UNAM) with Honorable Mention and Doctor in Environmental Geography (UNAM). She has carried out research stays at the Université de Montréal, the Université de Québec à Montréal, both in Canada, and a postdoctoral in COLMEX. Her work experience has been mainly in research at COLMEX; the Institute of Geography UNAM, the University Program of Studies on the City UNAM, the INJUVE-DF and; INIFAP CENID / COMEF. Today she is a visiting professor-researcher of the degree in Socio-Territorial Studies (environmental orientation) at the UAM- Cuajimalpa. At the same time, she is a subject professor at UNAM (Faculty of Sciences and Faculty of Political and Social Sciences), the recently created Rosario Castellanos Institute in Mexico City and the UAM itself. She has published articles in recognized magazines such as Ecosystem Services, Public Management and Policy Magazine, Latin American Magazine of Natural Resources, Ibero-American Magazine of Ecological Economy, Journal of Environmental Protection. In addition, book chapters edited by the University of Chile, CRI-UNAM, COLMEX, the University of Chapingo and the INBA. Her participation has been in about 40 national events and more than 20 international ones with inter and transdisciplinary topics on environmental research, sustainability, public policy, ecosystem services.
