Call for Submission for the 43rd International Human Science Research Conference

Please note that registration and payment of the associated fees must be completed by April 24, 2026, to be eligible to present at the conference. For reference and subject to change, the cost for the five days (including lunch and snacks, but excluding accommodation) will be between CAD 400 and CAD 600, plus taxes. A preferential rate will be offered to students and to early-bird registrants. It is your responsibility to create ONLY ONE complete profile, using the primary email address where you wish to receive communications (please also check your spam/junk folder to ensure you don't miss any important emails). You must also provide the requested identification details, which will be used, among other things, to prepare your name badge.
Only ONE submission per person as lead author is permitted.

Title of the proposition
Full name and affiliations of all the authors and the research supervisor, if applicable
Email address
Medium choice (Oral presentation, Poster, Workshop, Symposium, or Performance)
Clear description of the content in English with a maximum of 250 words (Times New Roman, 12, double line spacing), excluding titles, and contact information:
Oral presentation (20 minutes, plus another 20 minutes for questions) and by poster (48 x 36”): the abstract can be organized by sections such as context, methods, results, and conclusions, or explain clearly the aim and objectives (250 words maximum).
Symposium: each participant submits their own abstract, specifying which symposium they wish to participate in and the name of the person leading it (250 words maximum).
Workshop & performance (20 to 40 minutes): please detail time length, needed material, and space, any special requirements, and how this experiential proposition would be beneficial to deepen our exploration of human sciences (250 words maximum). Please note that we will not provide the specific equipment required for your presentation, with the exception of the projector and computer for digital visual aids.
Evaluation Criteria:
Title and abstract: clear description of the proposition and its contents;
Conciseness, coherence, and clarity;
Innovation, originality and currency;
Scientific rigor and relevance of the presentation for research/practice/teaching in the humanities.
