Hervé Breton is associate professor in adult education sciences at the University of Tours and a member of the research team Education Ethics Health (EA7505). His research work interrogates and examines the effects of narrative on the processes of self-formation and the formalization of experiential knowledge. He is president of the International Association of Life Stories in Formation (ASIHVIF). He recently coordinated with Aneta Slowik and Gaston Pineau a book in the "Histoire de vie et formation" collection entitled: Histoire de vie et recherche biographique: perspectives sociohistoriques.
