Mr. Maddigan graduated in 1995 from Algonquin College, Ottawa, with a Diploma in Architectural Technology (Conservation). He worked for Desnoyers Mecure et Associés, (DMA), in Montreal, from 1995 to 2002, working on heritage building projects including the Chateau de Ramezay Restoration and the Library of Parliament Rehabilitation. While working at DMA, he completed a Masters in building conservation at the Université de Montréal. In 2003, he began work with Robertson Martin Architects (RMA), Ottawa, where he is presently a Senior Associate, Building Conservation Specialist. Since starting with RMA, he has worked on national historic sites and buildings, including the Centre Block and the Supreme Court House, and continued to develop his knowledge and expertise of historic materials and assemblies. Presently, he is working on projects including the Confederation Building, Postal Station B, and the Sault Ste. Marie Canal Powerhouse building. He is a professional member of the Canadian
