Nicolas Miquelon is currently managing Parks Canada's historical services for Eastern Canada and the Federal Heritage Buildings Review Office (FHBRO). His team's role range from producing heritage evaluation reports, to providing research in support of conservation projects, to designing exhibits' content, and providing a variety of training. He previously managed and played the role of senior advisor to the FHBRO, and worked for many years as an architectural historian, with interests in religious, vernacular and modern architecture, as well as cultural landscapes. Trained in the fields of heritage conservation, history of architecture, and arts, Nicolas has developed a deep knowledge of heritage policies, conservation practices and commemoration programs for about 15 years, either at the federal, provincial, or municipal levels. He is also President of the Society for the Study of Architecture in Canada.

Nicolas Miquelon est gestionnaire des services historiques de Parcs Canada pour l'Est du Canada et le Bureau d'examen des édifices fédéraux du patrimoine (BEÉFP). Son équipe est chargée de la production de rapports d'évaluation patrimoniale, d'effectuer de la recherche en soutien à des projets de conservation, de la conception du contenu d'exposition, ainsi que divers types de formation. Il a précédemment eu la gestion et le rôle de conseiller principal du BEÉFP, et a travaillé pendant plusieurs années comme historien de l'architecture. Formé dans les champs de la conservation du patrimoine, de l'histoire de l'architecture et des arts, Nicolas a acquis au fil des 15 dernières années de profondes connaissances en matière de politiques du patrimoine, de pratiques de conservation et de programmes de commémoration, qu'il s'agisse au niveau fédéral, provincial ou municipal. Il est également le président de la Société pour l'étude de l'architecture au Canada.
