Lucia Cappiello is a PhD student at the Department of European and Mediterranean Cultures at the University of Basilicata, in Italy. She holds a master's degree in Tourism and Cultural Heritage, with a thesis in Tourism Geography. During her bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage, she has carried out an internship program within the Etnographic Museum of Altamura. Her current researches are related to the dissertation "The Sciabicoti, a net between past and future", aimed to analyse a community of practice based in Brindisi since the Medieval age, and nearly to disappear.
