Dr. Alain Gelly is historian at Archaeology and History Branch with Parks Canada Agency. After a long career in applied history, where he produced publications on urban, scientific, and heritage history, he began his career at Parks Canada in 1995. During his time at Parks Canada, he has developed an expertise in industrial and cultural heritage while producing reports on economic, military, scientific, and social history. His writings, presentations, and exhibitions testify to the diversity of his fields of interest and expertise..
