
Angel René Franco Balcázar is an historian (Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, BUAP), specialized in industrial history and preservation of industrial heritage. He is the producer of the documentary “Nos quitaron la luz, pero no la fuerza”, a memory of the struggle of electricians workers in Necaxa, Puebla. Through his photographs, Franco Balcázar has showed us the daily testimony of the people and electricians workers of Necaxa hydroelectric power plant in Puebla, México. His research publications include articles in "Resiliencia, innovación y sostenibilidad en el Patrimonio Industrial".
