He was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1975. Ha had received his B.Sc. from Department of Architecture in METU in 1997, M.S. in 2001 and Ph.D. in 2010 with the thesis titled respectively, ‘Absolute Space: MUD, A Re-Conceptualisation of Architectural Space’ and ‘A Computational Architecture Methodology for Traditional Tissue: The Case of Kalkan’ from the same department. He had worked as the founding partner and designer in AtolyeM Architects based in Ankara and Antalya between 1998 and 2013. His involvement includes new building projects and urban design projects in historical fabric, as well as restoration designs for historical buildings. Between 2002 and 2013, he had worked for various universities as part-time lecturer and studio instructor. He have been working in Department of Architecture in Bilgi University as a full-time instructor since 2013. Currently he is the studio coordinator for 4th year Architectural Design Studio and Restoration and Conservation Studio. He is providing lectures on the history and theory of computational design. He has published articles in various national and international journals.
