L’auteur est doctorant en cotutelle multidisciplinaire en histoire à l’Université de Montréal et en philosophie à l’école des hautes études en science sociale (EHESS). Ses recherches portent sur l’histoire des savoirs, des sciences et des techniques à la fin du moyen âge. Chargé de projet au C.I.EAU, ses responsabilités liées à la valorisation de la collection patrimoniale ont nourri une réflexion sur l’histoire industrielle et sur les usines anciennes en tant que manifestation matérielle du savoir. Depuis 2020, il mène différents projets d’acquisition visant à conserver certains équipements patrimoniaux dans le contexte de la réfection de plusieurs stations d’eau potable à Montréal.
