Head of Conservation and Technic Departmend, responsible for monument maintenance and conservation at the Westphalian State Museum of Industrial Heritage (LWL-Industriemuseum), Dortmund, Germany  

The LWL-Industrial Museum is a combined museum of eight individual industrial museums at athentic historical sites of industrialization in the Ruhr area and in Westphalia (https://www.lwl-industriemuseum.de/en). The eight museums are: The Zollern Colliery - The Hannover Colliery - The Nightingel Mine - The Henrichshütte ironworks Hattingen - The Henrichenburgs Ship Lift - The Bocholt extile factory - The Brickworksmuseum Lage - The Gernheim Glasmuseum 

Biography:

born 14.12.1965, in Cologne, Germany / -Studies of Biology, University of Cologne / Graduated Conservator at CICS (Cologne Institute of Conservation Sciences), Theses 1999: Fractur Mechanics - Cracksystems on easel paintings caused by direct mechanical stresses- examination into formation, shape and causes; Practical semester at Ther Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto, Canada / different places of work and responsibility in museums and in heritage conservation such as: State Office for Monument Preservation Rhineland, The LVR-Statesmuseum Bonn, City Museum of Cologne, Art Museum Krefeld, Art Museum Mülheim/Ruhr, Castele Museum "Schloss Homburg" / since 2015 employee at the Westphalian State Museum of Industrial Heritage
